Brrrr. Temperatures are expected to drop dramatically this week, local EMA Director Susan Harris said.
A strong cold front is forecast to make passage across the central Gulf coast late Tuesday night. Following the frontal passage, a much colder continental air-mass overspreads the deep south.
According to the National Weather Service, overnight lows could potentially dip down to a range from 28 degrees to 32 degrees by Thursday night over much of the interior, bringing potential impacts to local agriculture and landscaping industries which deal with sensitive plants.
