Florala splits with Kinston

The Florala Wildcats split area varsity games with Kinston on Friday night in Florala.
GIRLS
KINSTON 55,
FLORALA 50
The Lady Wildcats and Lady Bulldogs put on a shooting clinic in the opening varsity game, but it was Kinston who came away with the 55-50 victory.
Morgan Jackson made a living from free-throw line for the Lady Wildcats as she went 16-for-21 and finished the night with 28 points.
BOYS
FLORALA 52,
KINSTON 36
In the final varsity game of the evening, the Wildcats improved to 2-0 in area play as the knocked off Kinston 52-36.
Jacob Hammac knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the opening frame to push the Wildcats to a early 17-5 lead.
Rashaad Coleman turned up the hit in the second, third and fourth period as he paced the Wildcats with 21 points in the win.
Anthone’ Stone finished the game with 11 points, and Hammac added six points
