Julian R. Birk

Mr. Julian R. Birk, 20, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Jan. 13, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Fri., Jan. 19, 2018, at Christ the King Catholic Church.

He is survived by his parents, Dr. Rainier and Eleonora Birk of Andalusia; two sisters, Anna Birk of Andalusia, Zoe Birk of Germany; one brother, Alex Birk of Andalusia; his maternal grandparents, Eduardo and Anna Mortarotti of Argentina; his paternal grandfather, Karl Birk of France; and special family friends, Bill and Maria Thigpen of Andalusia

Dallas Wilbur Merritt

Mr. Dallas W. Merritt, 81, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., Jan. 12, 2018, in Dothan.

Funeral services were Sun., Jan. 14, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gary Miller, Brother Larry Cummings, and Dr. Mike Flowers officiating the service. The interment followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Boncile Merritt of Andalusia; a son and daughter-in-law, Denny and Mary Anne Merritt of Montgomery; three grandchildren, Whitney Merritt, David Smith, Mary Elizabeth Smith; two great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law, Sue Lane and Marvin Maxwell of Cedar Bluff, AL; and several nieces

JAMES C. INGRAM

Mr. James C. Ingram, age 85, of Red Level, passed away on Mon., Jan. 15, 2018, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., Jan. 19, from Oakey Streak Methodist Episcopal Church with Brother Tyler Ingram and Brother Billy Boles officiating the service. Interment will follow in Oakey Streak Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home. He will also lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Ingram; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Larry Carroll; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Ladonice Ingram; grandchildren, Whit (Sam) Carroll, Tyler (Brandi) Ingram, Cole (Kim) Carroll, Courtney (Derek) Williamson, and Jamie (Neal) Snider; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Pitts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Ingram, Whit Carroll, Cole Carroll, Brody Ingram, Derek Williamson, Neal Snider, and Jackson Ingram.
