The Opp Cultural Arts Center, in partnership with the Missoula Children’s Theatre, will present an adaptation of Gulliver’s Travels on Friday and Saturday.
With his spaceship wrecked and his trusty computer on the fritz, brave explorer Gulliver finds himself lost in space. While transporting from world to world, Gulliver discovers fighting aliens, foolish Yahoos, robots and more – all who need just as much help from Gulliver as Gulliver needs from them!
The production features dozens of local students, who auditioned on Monday and are learning their lines this week.
Performances, which are free, are set for 6:30 p.m. on Fri., Feb. 9, and 2 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 10. Both performances are set for the Opp High School auditorium.
Sponsors include Breedlove Building Supply, JM Jackson Chevrolet Buick, Covington Electric Cooperative, MFG Foundation, Southern Independent Bank, Taylor Linen, Gary and Wanda Strickland, and the Dixon Foundation.
