Original works to be presented Sunday in annual Valentine Dances

The Andalusia Ballet will present Valentine Dances this at 2:30 p.m. this Sun., Feb. 11, in the Dixon Center of LBW Community College.
Company dancers have an opportunity to express their personal artistic vision as they perform individually-choreographed pieces in a tradition that began several years ago as a fundraiser for the ballet’s building fund. They also created their own costuming.
Sunday’s performance will open with Mia Baumgartner, Mo’Claire Bradley, Piper Bulger, Abby Driver, Dixon Fite, Mallory McGlamory, Abigail Newman, Logan Pettis, Hannah Reed, Sara Catherine Sansom, Kylie Thomasson, and Kyla Trippe. Their dance will be followed by the individually choreographed pieces.
Performing original works will be (in order of appearance) Sarah Katherine Reese, Lexi Stallworth, Maggie Ruth Wiggins, Caroline Reeves, Marli Rolling, Anna Birk, Ella Ward, Gracie Beck, Mary Margaret Duffy, Ivy Rogers,
Robin & Drew Correro, Kaylin Fite, Anna Katherine Livingston, Aliana Anderson, Isabella Kipp, and Hannah Jo Wriston.
Also, Emily Anne Morgan, Sophia Jones, Emma Taylor,
Emma Henley, Sarah Beth Wriston, Sarah Porn, Lucy Dantz, Emily Ward, Kole Varner, Gabby Godwin, Abigail Livingston & Sydney Ward, and Lindsey Stephens & Jonathan Weed.
Admission is $10, and tickets are available at the door.
