More rain over weekend than all of January

More than in the entire month of January.
The Choctawhatchee, Pea and Yellow River Waters Watershed Management Authority recorded 4.78 inches of rain on the Yellow River at Hwy. 55, and 4.60 inches on the Yellow River at Hwy. 84 over a three-day period ending on Monday.
In the first 12 days of February, the authority recorded 6.72 inches of rain on the Yellow River at Hwy. 55, and 5.78 inches on the Yellow River at Hwy. 84.
By comparison, only 3.2 inches of rain was recorded on the Yellow River at Hwy. 55 in January, and only 1.62 inches of rain was recorded on the Yellow River at Hwy. 84 in the same time period.
