BOBCATS BRING THE HEAT: Opp softball uses big bats to dismantle Goshen

The Opp Lady Bobcats (1-1) picked up a huge win on Tuesday with a 20-5 victory over Goshen.

Opp was led by Graceanne Spears who went 4-for-5 with five RBIs, four singles, two runs scored and one stolen base.

Ariyon Hightower finished the game 3-for-4 with four RBIs, three runs scored, two doubles, one single and one stolen base.

Loryn Praytor finished with three RBIs on two singles and a triple.

Maggie Short drove in two runs on three hits including one double.

Graci Kidd picked up the win for the Lady Bobcats going five innings and striking out nine batters. Kidd didn’t allow a single run.

In junior varsity softball action, the Lady Bobcats came away with a 4-0 win over Goshen.

Emily Mitchell drove in one run and also scored a run.

Anna Beth Kendrick had two stolen bases and scored one run.

The Lady Bobcats will be back in action tonight as they play New Brockton at home at 6 p.m.
