Henry David Walters

Mr. Henry David Walters, age 70, of Andalusia, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.

Originally from Mobile, David moved to Andalusia in 1980 and became a member of First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia. There, he was a member of the Seekers Sunday School class, the Christian Education Committee, and the Worship Committee. David was a founding member of the Lower Alabama Arts Coalition, a not-for-profit arts organization in Andalusia, and also a member of the Covington Historical Society.

David is survived by his two sisters, Deborah W. (Lee) Lucas and Donna W. (Raymond) Guterman; his nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Steve and Harriet Hubbard. David was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford G. and Eva T. Walters.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Sat., March 24, 2018, at First Presbyterian Church in Andalusia with the Rev. Robert Madsen officiating. Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MICHAEL JAMES CARAWAY

Michael James Caraway, 64, a resident of Red Level, passed away Wed., March 21, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Fri., March 23, 2018, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Durwood Cleland officiating. Burial will follow in Kervin Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana will be directing arrangements. Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Katina Caraway and son, Daniel Hall. Survivors include; his wife, Nina Hall of Red Level; sons, Chris Caraway, Troy Hall and Dwight Hall, all of Red Level; grandchildren, Madison Caraway, Breanna Caraway, Arizona Hall, Emily Hall, Joey Hall, Brooke Hall, Dalton Myrick, Patrick Hall, Brandon Stacks, Riley Hornsby, Amber Raines and Ashley Raines; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Hall, Connor Jackson and Hunter Jackson.
