Opp Bobcats have title in sights

The No.2-ranked Opp Bobcats (19-6) are looking for nothing short of a state championship as they gear up to host T.R. Miller on Friday in the opening round of the Class 3A state playoffs.
Opp blistered their way through Area 3 play as they clinched home-field advantage for the first round of the state tournament.
The Bobcats have been led by three players who batted over .400 for the season.
Kody Richburg led the Bobcats with a .448 batting average and drove in 13 runs.
Dylan Grider finished the regular season with a .440 average with 11 RBIs.
Trey Moody finished the year with a .444 average and drove in eight runs.
Game one is set for 4:30 p.m., game two is scheduled for 7 p.m. If necessary, game three would be Sat., at 1 p.m.
