RUSSELL HAYDEN MALOY
Russell Maloy, age 76, of Ashford, died early Tues., April 24, 2018, at his residence under the care of hospice.
The family will receive friends from 10- 11 a.m. on Fri., April 27, 2018, in the Family First Funeral Care, Chapel of the Angels on Woodland. Graveside services will follow at 11:45 a.m., in the Enon Church of Christ Cemetery in Webb with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions be made to: Enon Church of Christ cemetery fund, c/o Mr. Jimmy Kilgore, 1366 Enon Road Webb, Al., 36376.
Mr. Maloy was born July 23, 1941, in Covington County as the son of the late George Maloy and Callie Smith Maloy. He moved to Ashford in 2001 from Petrey and was active with the family farming operations. Russell spent his working life as a farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, Brent (Molly) Maloy, Andrew Maloy and Tori Buchanan.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sarah Hudson Maloy of Ashford, to whom he was married for 56 years; his son, Glenn (Deborah) Maloy of Ashford; a daughter, Deborah (Michael) Buchanan of Auburn; his sister, Dorothy Lumpkin of Andalusia; grandchildren, Brent (Molly) Maloy, Andrew Maloy and Tori Buchanan.
Mr. Maloy was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Chappell.
ALLEN KYLE RAUPACH
Allen Kyle Raupach, age 19, of Dozier, passed away Tues., April 24, 2018, in a motor vehicle accident.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Fri., April 27, 2018, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:30-8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Lynn Berry of Dozier; brother, Dylan Dennis of Dozier; sisters, Briana Raupach, Dixie Dennis, Emma Berry and Kimberly Berry, all of Dozier; maternal grandparents, Sharon Pugh of Elba and Lloyd Mitchell of Dozier; and maternal great-grandmother, Jean Parks.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Allen “Pete” Raupach and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Raupach.
Pallbearers will include Jacob Gwin, Ronnie Rhoades, Trey Morgan, Jamie Hawkins, Jay Berry and Tim Simmons.
