Allison Vuyovich wanted to make people’s houses a little homier with her flowers.
“I think when people think of zinnias they remind themselves of home,” Vuyovich said. “I wanted to bring that to Andalusia.”
Vuyavich graduated from Andalusia High School and recently moved back from North Carolina and now works with the City of Andalusia in the Planning and Development-Horticulture Department and is the manager at the Andalusia Farmers Market.
“When I was in North Carolina everything felt very wild,” Vuyonich said. “I loved being able to go and look at the flowers so I wanted to bring that feeling back here when I came back.”
The zinnias will be available at the Andalusia Farmers Market, which is open from 7 a.m. until noon, every Wednesday and Saturday.
