BOBBY JOE “BJ” RILEY II

Mr. Bobby Joe “BJ” Riley II, age 30, of Andalusia, passed away at this home Sun., June 17, 2018. He spent a little over seven years as a manager at McDonald’s where his co-workers described him as one of the best trainers and managers they had ever worked for. BJ was a huge fan of Auburn football and loved playing Xbox. His personality was “larger than life.”

He is survived by his two children, Carlie Riley of Andalusia and Dakota Gray of Opp; his mother, Loretta (Jonathan) Grantham of Andalusia; his father, Bobby Carolyn) Riley of Scottsboro, Ala.; his brothers, Danny Riley and Zachery Riley; his sisters, Chasity and Tiffany Riley; his step-sisters, Jenny Paradise, Haley and Courtney Ward; his maternal grandmother, Carol Reynolds; his Uncle Donnie Cook; his Aunt Paula and Uncle Joe Day; and his Uncle Danny (Diane) Cheek; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his half- brother, Jonathan Carnley; his nephew, Caiden Riley; his paternal grandmother, Geraldine Lee; and both of his grandfathers, Paul Cook and Johnny Riley.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Thu., June 21, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia with the Rev. Tracy Stinson officiating.

Asked to serve as pallbearers are: Trae Lawson, Steven Worley, Caleb Callaham, David Moody, Michael Moore, and Zachery Riley.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m., and 8 p.m., today, Wed., June 20, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.

CHARLES PRESTON “CHARLIE” COPE

Mr. Charles Preston “Charley” Cope, 89, of Andalusia, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, in Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services were Monday, June 18, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Foster and the Rev. Kevin Wilburn officiating. Interment followed in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Foreman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Suzy and Shayne Lord of Opp; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lucky and Felicia Cope of Andalusia, Tony and Carol Cope of Auburn; his grandchildren, Abby (Cory) Wiggins, Carrie (Shaun) Mitchell, Joe (Kathryn) Cope, Bricken (Skylar) Cope, Preston (Paige) Cope, Ella Grace Cope; eight great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Cuba, Miley, Shayne, Joseph, Drennan, Charlie, Russell and Lane; and a brother, Johnny Blue, of Andalusia.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Cope; a brother, James Duffy Cope; and sister, Wanda Blue Studstill.

Pallbearers were Joe Cope, Bricken Cope, Preston Cope, Cory Wiggins, Shaun Mitchell, and Chuck Studstill.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Baracca Class of First Baptist Church.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Renovation Fund.
