DONNIE MAE MANNER

Mrs. Donnie Mae Manner, age 89, of Andalusia, passed away on Tue., June 19, 2018, at the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., today, Sat., June 23, 2018, at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Wilburn and William Worley officiating the service. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held, today, Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lynn Manner of Morehead, Kentucky; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Mike Terry of Salina, Kansas, and Judy and Donnie Weant of Dozier; grandchildren, Kyle Manner, Kelly (Zac) Cook, Jeremy (Abbi) Weant, Morgan (David) Sanders, and John Terry; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Gail Hudspeth of Paris, Tenn., Howard and Joyce Hudspeth of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Grover Hudspeth, Jr. of Paris, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Gerald Duncan of Lavina, Tenn.; and sister-in-law, Bettye Manner (Les) Haymons.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Manner, and grandson, Blake Manner.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Manner, Jeremy Weant, John Terry, David Sanders, Wendell Brown, and Darren Duncan.

JAMES V. “BUDDIE” SANDERS

Mr. James V. “Buddie” Sanders, age 94, of Andalusia, passed away on Wed., June 20, 2018, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., today, Sat., June 23, 2018, in Goodhope Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Holloway officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Erlene and Frank Lee of Midwest City, Okla., and Merlene LaPan of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Mary Jane Sanders of Gainesville, Ga., and James and Lynn Sanders of Flowery Branch, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Kinnie Sanders of Flowery Branch, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Jeanette Sanders of Tucker, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His wife of 74 years, Olene Sanders, preceded him in death by only nine months. He is also preceded by his parents, J.W. and Annie Lou Sanders; son, Jake Sanders; son-in-law, Bob LaPan; great-grandson, Pierre Gabriel Koellner; and sister, Estie Cobb.

Pallbearers will be Rob Lee, Michael Johnson, Phillip Sanders, Jamie Sanders, Veston Koellner, and Richard Myers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marshall Lee and Ethan Sims.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. JoAnn Smith and staff, Comfort Care Hospice, LHC Home Health, family, friends, and neighbors. Also a special thanks to Diane Knox and her team, Brenton Jennings, Haley Ramsey, and Linda Knox.
