MARY HOLIHITE HARDEN

Mary Dolihite Harden died peacefully in Pensacola, Fla., on June 24, 2018, at the age of 93. Mary is survived by her son, Olan Howard Harden/Candace of Andalusia; grandchildren, Tyler Harden/Celeste; Shannon Harden; great-grandchildren, Caylyn Harden, Gunnar Harden, Thor Harden, Will Harden and Trey Dunmore. Mary is also survived by a family of loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Mary was a longtime member of Boulevard Baptist Church, Pensacola, Fla.

Mary was born on May 7, 1925, in Castleberry, Ala., to Ernest and Molly Dolihite. She was married to William (Bill) Howard Harden of Brewton, Ala., March 3, 1951. After moving to Pensacola, Mary began working for Bellsouth/AT&T as an administrative assistant to the district manager. Mary worked at Bellsouth for 36 years. After retirement from Bellsouth, Mary owned and operated the Good Neighbor Gift Shop in downtown Pensacola.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Wed., June 27, 2018, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mrs. Harden. The family would like to thank Wesley Haven Villas and Regency Hospice for their care and kindness.

 

EVELYN “BILL” LAMBERT

Evelyn “Bill” Lambert, 89, was received into Heaven on June 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Sat., June 30,2018, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with the Rev. Steve Skidmore officiating.

Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m., until 10:15 a.m., prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; West Highland Baptist Church, PO Box 417, Andalusia, where her family attended from 1950-1967.

Evelyn was born April 14, 1929, in Webb, Ala., and raised in Andalusia, attending Andalusia High School and First United Methodist Church. On April 7, 1950, she married Huey M. Lambert at First Baptist Church, Andalusia. Evelyn was currently a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church having joined in 1967.

Survivors include their children, Susan Stokes (Charles), Edward Lambert (Linda), Mike Lambert (Teresa) and Alva Lambert; sister, Faye Stroud Moree; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Huey; grandson, Mark Stokes; parents, Alva and Alice McCord (Stroud); sisters, Elizabeth, Catherine; and brothers, Leon and Edsel.

ROBERT MOULTON JR.

Robert Moulton, Jr., known to friends as “Bobby” and to his loved ones as “Daddy Bob,” passed away on June 25, 2018, at the age of 79 years.

A native of Opp, Bobby graduated OHS in 1958 and attended John A. Gupton College in Nashville, Tenn., to study mortuary science. After receiving his certificate to become a funeral director, Bobby returned to Opp in 1961 and became a funeral director at Rainer Funeral Home, where he worked for 40 years until he retired.

Bobby was an active Mason and Shriner. He was a life-long hunter, fisherman and lover of everything outdoors. For the last 15 years, Bobby spent virtually every day of turkey season in the woods calling birds with his regionally known skills. He was a proud member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Bobby was a gun enthusiast, member of the National Rifle Association, and incredible marksmen – a skill he proudly taught his two grandsons.

Daddy Bob is survived by his companion of more than 20 years (and fellow turkey hunter), Joan Sowell; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Russ Campbell; step- daughter and son-in-law, Malissa Sowell and Roy Dennis Hester; grandchildren, Parker (22), Jackson (16), and Elizabeth (26) Moulton; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Gerry Nagel; and brother, Joe Moulton.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alline Hattaway Moulton; father, Robert Moulton, Sr.; son, Robert Moulton, III; brother, Don Moulton; and sister, Doris Valanzano.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., today, Thursday, June 28, 2018, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home.

Kerry Partridge, Jr.,

Kerry Partridge, Jr., age 33, a resident of Andalusia and formerly of Troy, died Monday, June 25, 2018, at Andalusia Health. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Earnest Green officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Walls Partridge; daughter, Amelia Joan Partridge; father, Kerry Partridge; sisters, Kristina LeCroy (Marshall) and Mary Partridge; grandmother, Hassie Lou Dominey; and numerous nieces and other family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Faye Partridge.

Family was always important to Kerry, which was evident in his excitement about becoming a father. He graduated from Goshen High School in 2003 and then began attending Troy University where he graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He loved his job at CCB Community Bank in Andalusia where he had worked for 10 years. Mr. Partridge loved life and showed it by the way he lived. He will be truly missed
