Eagles set to soar in 2018

The Pleasant Home Eagles secured a playoff spot last year, and are set for a another playoff push in 2018.

Pleasant Home finished the 2017 season with a 5-6 record.

The Eagles will open up the season on Aug. 24 with a road trip to Elberta.

Pleasant Home and Elberta have never met on the football field.

On Oct. 31, the Eagles will take a bye week.

Pleasant Home returns to action with a region game at home against Elba.

This will be the first game ever between the two schools.

The Eagles begin a three-week roadtrip on Sept. 14 with a region game against Red Level.

The series is tied 5-5 with Pleasant Home currently on a two-game winning streak.

Pleasant then travels to McKenzie on Sept. 21 for a region game with the Tigers.

McKenzie holds a 10-4 record against Pleasant Home and has won the past six games.

Last year, McKenzie beat Pleasant Home 47-46 in a double overtime thriller.

On Sept. 28, the Eagles travel to take on Class 4A Satsuma.

This is the first meeting bewtween the two schools.

Pleasant Home returns to region play when they host Georgiana on Oct. 5.

Georgiana has won the past five games in the series and holds a 5-3 lead.

The Eagles remain at home against region rival Kinston on Oct. 12.

Pleasant Home leads the series 10-8.

On Oct. 19, the Eagles will travel to Florala for a region contest.

The Eagles led the series 12-6.

Pleasant Home will wrap up region play with a home game against Brantley on OCt. 26.

Brantley leads the series 17-1.

The Eagles wrap up the regular season on Nov. 2 against Zion Chapel.

Zion Chapel leads the series 7-5.
