The Andalusia Country Club will host one of it’s biggest golf tournaments of the year this Saturday and Sunday.

“This is our most successful tournament each year,” tournament director Jordan Maynor said. “We had 90-plus teams in each of the last five years. This year we are accepting 108 teams.”

Some of the teams will tee off at 8 a.m., with the remaining teams teeing off at 1 p.m., on Saturday.

“Following Saturday’s round, we will have dinner, Calcutta and the full band Issues will be providing entertainment for the night.” Maynor said.

The Calcutta allows people to bid on the team that they suspect will bring in the low round on Sunday in each flight.

Teams that joined will be placed in different flights based on skill level.

The teams will each get one tee buster (allows your team to move to a forward area on the selected hole and the player tees off from this spot) and mulligan (do over) per player for each day.

The Championship flight, which consists of the top golfers in the tournament will not be given a tee buster or a mulligan.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of each flight in the tournament.
