Earlier this summer, Ethan Wilson helped lead the Andalusia Bulldogs to the school’s first ever baseball state championship, and now the recent graduate has been named to MaxPreps’ Medium School First-Team All-American roster.

Wilson dazzled batters on the mound and crushed opposing pitchers at the plate.

The senior Bulldog went 12-0 on the mound with a microscopic 0.65 ERA.

He also struck out 112 batters in 62 innings pitched.

At the plate, the left-handed slugger was equally impressive with a .529 batting average, 10 home runs, 51 runs scored and 41 RBIs.

Wilson was projected to a mid-round draft pick in MLB’s draft, but he took his name out because he wanted to take a few more years to improve his game at the college level.

Wilson has signed a scholarship to play at the University of South Alabama where he will play centerfield for the Jaguars.
