Eula Mae Walden Davis

Mrs. Eula Mae Walden Davis, age 77, of Florala, Alabama, died Monday, July 16, 2018, in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, James T. Davis; sons and daughters-in-law, Shane Davis and Mary Beth and Dana Davis and Tiffany; brothers, Joe Vaitis (Sandra) and William Ray Walden; and grandchildren, Evan Davis, Austin Davis, Jordan Davis and Olivia Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eula V. Jackson Walden and Ray Walden; step-father, A. J. Vaitis; and brother, Ken Vaitis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am.. Thursday, July 19, 2018, from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel at 1018 Florala Highway, Opp, AL 36467. Interment will follow at Almarante Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Florida. Ronnie Sexton will be officiating.   Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Samaritan’s Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org)

 

GAIL ETHERIDGE ADAMS

Mrs. Gail Etheridge Adams, 64, of Opp, passed away Sun., July 15, 2018, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., today, Wed., July 18, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Beck and Richard Odom, of Opp, Austin Davis of Andalusia; two great-grandchildren, Aaron Odom and Wade Odom; a sister, Toni Etheridge Miller and husband, Mark of Madison; one nephew, Andrew James Miller.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Adams; a daughter, Jaime Prestwood; and parents, James H. and Estelle Etheridge.

Pallbearers will be Austin Davis, Christopher Adams, Richard Odom, Randy Odom, Andrew Miller, Mark Miller.

JACKQUELINE “HALEY” HENDERSON

Ms. Jacqueline “Haley” Henderson, age 25, of Andalusia passed away Sun., July 15, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Ms. Henderson was an active member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and worked as a sitter in people’s homes. She was a “Country Girl” at heart and especially loved to fish and spend time with her six-year-old daughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Madilyn Stoudemire of Andalusia; her father, Brian (Wendy) Henderson; her mother, Jennifer McDuffie and Ronnie Yates; her brother, Johnny Henderson of Andalusia; sister, Emily Henderson of Andalusia; paternal grandparents, Galford and Bertha Henderson of Andalusia and Paul and Debra Henderson of Andalusia; maternal grandfather, Johnny McDuffie of Andalusia; nieces, Brooklyn and Lyla and nephew, Zander. She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Jackie McDuffie.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thu., July 19, 2018, at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Roger Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at Keahey Funeral Home.
