Covington Electric Cooperative has alerted its customers it will have Osmose inspectors conducting power pole inspections on its system, beginning this week and continuing until November.

The work began in the Wing area this week and continues throughout the coop’s service area.

The company will inspect poles on highways, near homes and other property where Covington lines are located.

CEC’s statement said Osmose personnel travel in white trucks with company signage clearly marked, and use utility vehicles as needed.
