STEPHEN “EDDIE” EDGAR WILLIAMS, III

Mr. Stephen “Eddie” Edgar Williams, III of Red Level passed away Mon., July 23, 2018, in the Andalusia Health Facility. He was 58. Mr. Williams enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and cooking. He was known by his family and friends as a “Grill Master.” He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and his jeep on dirt roads with friends. “Eddie” was truly a country boy at heart.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. today, Thu., July 26, 2018, at the Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia. The Rev. Alan Joyner will officiate and burial will follow in the Kervin Cemetery. The family will receive friends, today, Wed., July 25, 2018, from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 28 years, Yvonne Orene Williams of Red Level; mother, Myrtle Ruth of Andalusia; daughter, Courtney Williams of Andalusia; two grandchildren, Kaylie Williams and Destanie Tillery; two sisters, Pat (Johnny) Pippin of Andalusia and Carol (Sam) Mock of Prattville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law by marriage, Donna (Scott) Hudgens of Grady, Alabama, Curtis (Cindy) Kervin of Red Level, Lamon (Tammy) Kervin of Luling, Louisiana, Eric (Marlana) Kervin of Red Level, Pam Kervin of Andalusia, Wayne Kervin of Red Level; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Edgar Williams, Jr.

KENNETH

STALLWORTH

Elder Kenneth Stallworth passed away at his home July 22, 2018, in Andalusia. He was 62.

He was a longtime employee of Andalusia Elementary School (AES) and was loved by students and faculty.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at First Baptist Church on East Three Notch Street, Andalusia.

Visitation will be at Church of God In Christ, 234 North Cotton Street, Andalusia, from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 27.

Internment will be in Marshall Memorial Cemetery Andalusia.

 

BECKY SOUTHWELL MAXFIELD

Mrs. Becky Southwell Maxfield, age 69, of Abingdon, Md., formerly of Andalusia, passed away Sep., 17, 2017.

She attended Andalusia High School and graduated in 1965. Following AHS, she attended college at the University of Montevallo where she met her husband of 44 years, Bob Maxfield.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., today, Thu., July 26, at Magnolia Cemetery. Following the graveside service, the family will celebrate Becky’s life with at visitation and reception at the Andalusia Country Club.

She is survived by her husband Bob; a son, Michael Maxfield; one sister, Janet Southwell Tryon of Pensacola; her niece Holly Alves and her family; along with her nephew, Trey Tunnell and his family; and her in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Burton Maxfield of Cullman, Ala.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Johnnie Southwell.
