Wrecking crews took down the older metal buildings behind the visitors’ bleachers at the Andalusia High School stadium this past weekend. The brick wall in the background also is slated  to come down and be replaced with fencing so that the stadium is move visible, Mayor Earl Johnson said Monday. The city is doing this part of the stadium renovation project. The concrete also will be broken up. Buses are now being parked at the Woodson Learning Center (old Andalusia Middle School).
