Locke named Monroe County head coach

Former Andalusia High School basketball coach Marshall Locke has been named the head coach of the Monroe County football team.
Locke will replace Juan Williams, who went 12-28 over four years at Monroe County.
Locke spent 23 years coaching several differnt sports at Andalusia, including head coach of the 2001 Lady Bulldog state championship basketball team.
The past two seasons, Locke has been the head coach of the Carroll-Ozark girls basketball team.
Monroe County is scheduled to begin the season on Aug. 31 at J.F. Shields.
Locke will bring his team to Andalusia on Sept. 14.
