U.S. 29 repair work starts this Monday

An Alabama Department of Transportation project to repair a front slope on U.S. Highway 29 just north of Dunns Bridge Road, will begin Monday, August 6, weather permitting.
Motorists are encouraged to expect delays, plan accordingly, and use caution when traveling in a work zone.
ALDOT awarded the project to H & L Construction, Inc., out of Troy, Ala., at a cost of $556,015.50 with 55 working days. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
