The Andalusia Police Department is still seeking information about a Monday incident original called a drive-by shooting, according to a statement released Thursday afternoon.

On Monday, the APD said it was seeking the public’s help in finding information about a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup with chrome accents, and the driver or occupant of a small red car also being sought as a possible suspect in the incident. The call for help followed what they are now calling a “shooting incident” that occurred about noon on Monday on Snead Street.

Thursday, APD public information director Allen Scofied said have determined that a person was the intended target and this was not a random act. There was property damage due to the gunfire, but no injuries were involved.
