Spectators watch the end of a heat in the Southern Outlaw Dragboat Association’s drag racing event on Lake Jackson in Florala Saturday. Boats raced throughout the dace on an 800-foot course with the fastest boats reaching speeds of up to 110 mph. The event was sanctioned by the American Outboard Association.
