The Adult Activity Center is opening registration for their annual trip, which will be to Switzerland, Austria and Bavaria in September of 2019.

Every year the Adult Activity Center sponsors a trip either in the country or overseas.

Organizer Deborah Carter said that they usually have around 15 people participate. The exception was a New York trip, when 64 people participated.

The Adult Activity Center has sponsored trips to NYC, Alaska, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Italy and last year their trip was a west coast cruise that went through San Francisco, Canada and Astoria.

Carter said that they’ve received positive feedback on each trip.

“Every trip’s feedback is great,” Carter said. “The people loved everything about them and we always have a good time. We eat together and just have a great time.”

“It really is a beautiful place that we will be going to,” Carter said. “It will be a really safe trip as well. If you love seeing beautiful scenery then this trip is for you.”

The cost of the trip will be $4,149 per person and that will include airfare, hotels for 10 days and 12 meals.

The Adult Activity Center works with a company called Collette to organize the trips. The company will send a representative to give a presentation on the trip on September 25 at 2 p.m., at the Adult Activity Center.

The Adult Activity Center is also sponsoring a trip to Washington, D.C., Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown, Va., from April 2-7, 2019.

The trip includes round trip motor coach transportation, two day hop on hop off passes to the National Mall and Arlington Cemetery, five breakfasts, Dinner at Smokey Bones, watching the play Shear Madness at the Kennedy Theater, luggage handling fees, driver’s gratuity, admission to Historical Jamestown, admission to Colonial Williamsburg, five night hotel lodging and free bingo with prizes.

The trip will cost $1,439 for a single person and $1,129 for double.

Both trips are available for anyone older than 21 and they do not have to be affiliated with the Adult Activity Center.
