Pleasant Home senior hoops sensation River Baldwin saw her national status rise in the latest rankings released by ESPN.

Baldwin reached a five-star rating by ESPN and moved up the No. 27 player in the nation for the class of 2019.

“Low-post player with a blue-collar persona consistently pounds the glass, scores through contact and finds the charity stripe,” ESPN’s Dan Olson said of Baldwin. “Defensive presence in the lane and competes on both ends of the floor. Her back to basket game consistency is key to next level impact and remains a coveted prospect in the class of 2019.”

Baldwin was named the Class 1A Player of the Year as a sophomore and a junior.

Baldwin is currently committed to Florida State.
