Organizers of the annual fall Little Lambs consignment sale are looking for moms who have gently-used children’s clothing and toys to sell.
Organizer Shirley Tew said the event will again be a Friday night and Saturday morning sale.
The sale will be held Friday night, Sept. 28, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., and Sat., Sept. 29, from 8 a.m. until noon at the Kiwanis Building, on the Hwy. 55 bypass.
Clothing check-in will begin on Thursday, Sept. 27.
“We would like to welcome you to participate,” she said. “This is a consignment sale for your children’s used clothing, toys, books, shoes and furniture. A group of Christian women began this sale as an opportunity to raise money for mission projects.”
The sales proceeds will be split with 75 percent going back to the seller and 25 percent donated to a local charity.
The deadline to become a consignor is Friday, Sept. 21. Consignment packages are available from Blackston Eye Care, Andalusia Health, First Baptist Church in Andalusia, and Dr. Bagwan Bang’s office in Opp.
For a seller’s number, contact Angie Hicks at 334.892.2841.
Admission for shopping for persons 18 years or older will be $1. Shoppers are encouraged to bring small bills for shopping. No checks will be accepted, cash or charge only.
