Andy karate students earn wins

Members of Andalusia Isshinryu Karate picked up top finishes recently at the World Yoshukai Karate Kobudo Orginazation Sunshine Classic Martial Arts Championships in Panama City.

Six AIK members competed in the event and came away with seven first place finishes.

Kinsley Bailey picked up a pair of first place finishes in yellow belt weapons and kata.

Bailey also finished in third place in yellow belt fighting.

Kyle Burgans came in strong with a pair of first place finishes in brown belt fighting and kata.

Ashton Bailey came away with a first place finish in green belt weapons.

Bailey finished in second place in green belt kata and fighting.

Taj Patel came away with a pair of second place finishes in youth black belt 13-14 weapons and fighting.

Patel came in third place in youth black belt 13-14 kata.

Nathan Rooker earned a first place green belt fighting and second place in kata.

Dhilan Patel picked up a first place finish in yellow belt fighting and second place in kata.
