In the month of September the Covington County EMA is coordinating tours of every county in the school for local, county and state law enforcement officers, director Susan Harris said. This week the tours took place at Florala High School, W.S. Harlan Elementary School, and Pleasant Home Schools.

“This gives these first responders an opportunity to put eyes on all parts of the school and to better prepare if called to respond to a school incident,” Harris said.
