An Andalusia man has been charged with murder in the Thursday night shooting death of a River Falls man.

Jeremy Alan Beam of Andalusia, 35, of Andalusia, is charged with murder in the death of Marvin Wayne Moose, 39, of River Falls, according to an updated APD press release issued this morning.

The APD answered a call of a shooting incident on Barton Street at approximately 10:38 p.m. Thursday night where they found Moose with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was  transported to the Andalusia Health, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Investigators conducted several interviews during the course of the night and were able to identify Beam as a suspect. He is being held in the Covington County Jail with a $1 million bond.
