Classes resume Thursday

Covington County, Andalusia and Opp students will resume classes on Thursday, superintendents said.
“EMA updates this morning have serious storm conditions moving out of our area by 9:00 p.m. tonight,” Andalusia Superintendent Ted Watson said. “All staff, students and faculty should report to school on Thursday, Oct. 11, as usual. Buses will roll on their usual schedules. All persons should use caution when reporting to school.”
Watson said, as always, a liberal check in policy will be observed for individuals who might have issues hindering a timely arrival.
LBW Community College also will resume classes on Thursday.
