Harper Electric Company is sending 17 vehicles to aid the hurricane effort in Jacksonville, Fla.

Corporate secretary Christle Bush said that the company got the call to help yesterday and went ahead and mobilized six pickup trucks, eight bucket trucks and three diggers.

Bush said that the group will be staged and wait until they are needed until they do anything.

The group will assist in restoring power lines, power, setting poles and turning power back on for the people of Jacksonville.
