MRS. VIVIAN HENDERSON CLARK

Mrs. Vivian Henderson Clark, 84, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Oct. 6, 2018, at Andalusia Hospital.

Vivian was born in Andalusia and moved to Plant City, Fla., when she was 13 years old.

After graduating from Turkey Creek High School she and her family moved back to Andalusia where she met and married James Harold “Bud” Clark. Vivian went to Troy University and graduated with a degree in education. She was a teacher in Andalusia City Schools for many years. Those of us who knew her, loved hearing the stories of the special children in her classes.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Andalusia, the Retired Teachers Association, Altrusa Club and Eastern Star.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband James Harold “Bud” Clark. She is survived by her son, Harold Clark (Barbara) and daughter, Kimberly Clark, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Malcolm Henders and his wife Kim and a sister-in-law, Imogene Henderson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tues., Oct. 9, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Brother Herb Carlisle officiated the service. Visitation was also at Foreman’s.
