Andy Lady Bulldogs fall to Trinity

The Andalusia Lady Bulldogs saw their season come to an end on Friday after falling to Trinity 3-0 in the South Super Regional tournament in Montgomery.

GAME ONE

TRINITY 25,

ANDALUSIA 12

In the opening game of the day, the Andalusia Lady Bulldogs fell 25-12 to the Trinity Lady Wildcats.

Andalusia got on the board first with an ace from Anna Duffy to start the match.

Trinity then went on top 5-2.

The Lady Wildcats continued to build their lead before a big kill from Kathleen O’Neal cut the Trinity lead down to 11-6.

Anna Brady added a kill to bring the score to 13-8.

Andalusia never gave up and got a couple of kills from O’Neal down the stretch before falling 25-12.

GAME TWO

TRINITY 25,

ANDALUSIA 12

Trinity came out strong in the second game and picked up a 25-12 victory.

Trinity went up 4-0 before a kill from Brady put the Lady Bulldogs on the board.

The Lady Wildcats surged out front 18-4 before a kill from Mary Katherine Salter helped trim the lead down.

Down the stretch, the Lady Wildcats pulled away for a 25-12 victory.

GAME THREE

TRINITY 25,

ANDALUSIA 11

Andalusia started off strong and built a 2-0 lead right out of the gate.

Trinity battled back and went up 12-8.

The Lady Bulldogs keep up the fight as an ace from Chloe Mikel cut the Trinity lead down to 12-10.

Following the ace from Mikel, Trinity scored eight-straight points to take a 20-10 lead.

Trinity finished off the series with a 25-11 victory.
