Red Level wants to end year on high note

The Red Level Tigers (4-5) are out of the playoff picture, but look to end the season strong as they prepare to host Fruitdale on Friday night in Red Level.

Red Level opened up the season strong and narrowly lost to Zion Chapel to begin the season.

Things then began to click for the Tigers as they reeled off four-straight wins to put the squarely in the playoff picture.

In the later half of the season, the Tigers had to play four-straight games against the top four teams in the their region.

Red Level fell to Florala (68-26), Brantley (53-14), Elba (41-6) and Georgiana (40-0).

Those final four teams will represent Class 1A, Region 2 in this year’s playoffs.

This is will be the third time that Fruitdale on Red Level have played on the gridiron with each team winning one game.

Red Level won the last game in 2015.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., on Friday in Red Level.
