Andalusia takes down Linden

The Andalusia Bulldogs finished in the third place in the Escambia County High School Holiday tournament after knocking off Linden 75-69 on Friday in Atmore.
Both teams started the game strong, but it was Andalusia that took a 22-15 lead into the second period.
Roosevelt Weaver was on fire from downtown as he drained a pair of 3-pointers in the opening period.
Elijah McClain had six points for the Bulldogs in the first period.
Franklin Osorio came on strong with seven points in the second period.
At halftime, Andalusia was up 42-36.
The game remained tight the rest of the way through, but the Bulldogs were able to hold on for the win.
McClain led the Bulldogs with 23 points.
McClain was also named to the All-Tournament team.
