Luverne pulls away to knock off Red Level

In the final semifinal game of the evening, the Luverne Tigers knocked off the Red Level Tigers 73-41 on the second night of the Red Level Christmas tournament.
Luverne opened up the game with a quick 3-pointer from Krishaun Hamilton.
Kade Green answered with a jumper from the top of the key, but Hamilton and Luverne took control of the game.
Hamilton had two more 3-pointers in the period to help Luverne go up 17-8 heading into the second period.
Chance Russell picked up a pair of free throws and a 3-pointer in the second period, but Red Level trailed 32-20 at halftime.
Luverne spread the scoring around in third period with 10 different players picking up points in the period.
Luverne was on top 56-38 heading into the final frame.
Hamilton continued his shooting clinic in the fourth period as he knocked down four 3-pointers to help led Luverne to the win.
Hamilton ended the game with nine 3-pointers.
Red Level will play G.W. Long today at 4:30 p.m.
