The Straughn Tigers split varsity area games with Geneva on Tuesday night in Geneva.

GIRLS

GENEVA 48, STRAUGHN 37

In the first match of the night, the Lady Tigers fell 48-37.

BOYS

STRAUGHN 58,

GENEVA 45

The Tigers finished off the night with a 58-45 victory over Geneva.

Justin Peeples led the Tigers with 29 points, including seven 3-pointers.

Trent Cleland finished with 11 points.

“I thought the boys and girls played extremely well,” Straughn head coach Bradley Stephens said. “The girls a did a better job executing and playing together. The did a good job playing as a team and allowing the game to come to them. The game was a good win, which moved us to 2-1 in area ond 14-4 overall.”
