Hazel Kelley Shaver

Mrs. Hazel Juanita Kelley Shaver, age 91, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away January 27, 2019, at Andalusia Manor.   

Mrs. Shaver is survived by her husband of 72 years, John David Shaver; a sister, Ila Britton of Birmingham; nephews Jimmy Pate, Todd Pate and Jeffery Sowell of Andalusia, Wade Britton of W. Virginia; nieces Diane Howell of Andalusia, Sue Harper and Judi Ward of Evergreen; cousins Jim Garner, Ray Kelley, Marcus Kelley, Louise Rabren, Dorothy Dozier and Alice Gilley of Andalusia, Paul Garner of Hoover/Birmingham,  Johnny Garner of Montgomery, Audrey Hildreth of New Jersey and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Z. Kelley and Sallie Garner Kelley of Florala, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Comfort Care Hospice, 1805-3 East Three Notch Street, Andalusia, Alabama 36420 or the charity of your choice.

Mae Etta Kilcrease Nelson

Mrs. Mae Etta Kilcrease Nelson, age 77, of Opp, Alabama, died Monday, February 4, 2019, in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Nelson and Angela, Kenneth Nelson and Lisa and Bruce Nelson and Tracey; daughter-in-law, Renee Nelson; brother and sister-in-law, Carl Kilcrease & Raylene; grandchildren, Ashley Hall, Zach Nelson, Hunter Nelson, Ben Nelson and Matt Nelson; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Nelson; son, Mike Nelson; and parents, Etta Mae Harrison Kilcrease and Grady Kilcrease.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019, from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bob Hataway will be officiating with special music by Judd Holderfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Zach Nelson, Ben Nelson, Matt Nelson, Hunter Nelson, Josh Hall and Mickey Kilcrease.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of son, Bruce Nelson, 18526 Hattaway Rd., Opp, Alabama 36467
