Amelia Grace Cannon Curry

Mrs. Amelia Grace Cannon Curry, age 89, formerly of Red Level, passed away Thurs., February 7, 2019 at her residence.

She was a devoted mother who believed in unconditional love for family and friends. She loved working for Doctor Sanders and helping people.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February, 10, at Fairmount Cemetery in Red Level with John Vell officiating the service. Foreman Funeral Home will be directing the service.

She is survived by sons, Joe Glenn Curry of Red Level and Garel DeMarr Curry of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Curry and Charles Close of Daphne; grandchildren, Jason Close, Jeff Close, Amelia Close Campbell, and Jessica Curry Thomas; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister, Mary Jean Tauch of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Halcotte Demarr Curry; sister, Edna Rae Cannon Hutcheson Pouncey, brother, Jack W. Cannon, cousin, Franklin M. Cannon, and parents, Mary Gay Williamson Cannon and Add Cannon.

RONALD STEPHEN DAVIS

Ronald Stephen Davis was born on Oct. 29, 1953, in Bay Minette, Ala. He died on Feb. 4, 2019, after a short illness. He resided in Andalusia.

Ronnie, as he was known to all, was a kind, loving, caring man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Carl Davis and his mother Thelma Louise Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Pamela (Twitchell) Davis, brother Ricky Davis, Sisters Susan Munoz and Cheryl Davidson; and three children Buddy Lee Davis, Joni Kay Davis and Mary Evelyn Davis Ball. He also had numerous nieces and nephews and he was blessed with 11 grandchildren and one great grand child.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., on Sat., Feb. 16, 2019, at Southside Baptist Church in Andalusia.
