The Opp Bobcats’ season came to a close on Saturday as they fell 58-46 to Bullock County in the Class 3A Southeast Regional semifinals in Montgomery.

Bullock County came out hot as they quickly built a 12-0 lead.

Opp battled back with buckets from Erik Matthews and Bryan Matthews.

Heading into the second period, Opp was down 14-7.

Jaydon Lacey got the first bucket of the second period and then a 3-pointer from Harold King helped Opp trim the Bullock County lead down to 16-12.

At halftime, Opp was down 24-16.

Opp continued to fight, but fell 58-46.

B. Matthews and E. Matthews finished with 14 points each.
