The third graders at Andalusia Elementary School got a surprise on Friday afternoon when the entire Andalusia High School baseball team came to read to them for, “Read Across America”. The tradition all started six years ago when head coach Tyler Dent started coming to Amber Clark’s class to read to her students for “Read Across America” week and throughout the years Dent began brining along one of his seniors. This year, Dent asked Clark if he could bring his entire team to read. The 12 Bulldog baseball players took turns reading pages of a Dr. Suess book to the delight of the AES third graders.
