Reynolds, Skalniak fastest runners in Rattlesnake 5K

Tucker Reynolds was the fastest male runner in Saturday’s Rattlesnake Rodeo 5K, finishing in 17:51 at an average pace of 5:44 minutes per mile.

Reynolds, who is 18, outran all other participants by more than a minute.

Aubrey Skalniak of Milton was the fastest female runner, finishing in 21:07, and seventh overall.

Duane Evans of Crawfordville, Fla., was the male masters winner, while Carolyn Houston of Dothan was the female masters winner.

Dale Thomas of Dothan was the male grandmasters winner, and Jean Forbus of Montgomery was the female grandmasters winner.

Greg Hataway was the overall winner among male walkers with a time of 37:12, and Joanna Whigham was the overall female walker winner with a time of 39:33.
