BULLDOGS GET HOME WIN: Andalusia golf team takes down Charles Henderson

The Andalusia High School golf team picked up a big win on Wednesday afternoon at the Andalusia Country Club in Andalusia.

In the boys’ match, Andalusia came away with a low score of 314.

Jack McCalman led the way for the Bulldogs with a low-round score of 74.

Adam Kilpatrick had a strong day as well as he finished with a score of 75.

Parker Kelley finished the day with a score of 79 for the third lowest score in the round.

Xavier Dozier finished off the scoring with a score of 86.

The remaining Andalusia players didn’t factor into the team scores, but still competed as individuals.

Cameron Woodard ended the day with a score of 88.

Cade Cawson came in with a score of 88.

D.J. Dorsey finished the day with a 91.

Baily Niyon came in with a score of 99.

Everett Thompson finished with a score of 102.

Nicolas Loflin ended the day with a score of 110.

Charles Henderson finished second in the boys match with a score of 350.

Griff McCrary was the leading scorer for the Trojans with an 80.

Brax Barron finished with a score of 86.

Grant Baker came in with an 89.

Cody Paramore ended the round with a score of 95.

Samson and Kinston each had players compete, but didn’t have enough players to factor into the team match.

Samson’s Derek Warren finished with a score of 109 and Cory Ingram came in with a score of 118.

Kinston’s Jaxon Donaldson ended the day with a score of 123.

In the girls’ match, Andalusia, Kinston and Straughn each had girls compete as individuals.

Andalusia’s Eva Kanaley had the low score in the girls’ match with a score of 102.

Straughn’s Emily Mullins finished in second place with a score of 113.

Kinston’s Griffen Holley finished third with a score of 117.

Kinston’s Claire McReynolds came in fourth place as she finished with a score of 118.

Andalusia’s Sarah Williams had a strong day as she finished in fifth place with a score of 119.

Kinston’s Addison Musgrove captured sixth place with a score of 121.

Kinston’s Madison Moore rounded out the girls’ round with a score of 124.
