The LBWCC Lady Saints continued solid conference play as they knocked off Coastal Alabama South 2-1 on Thursday afternoon in Andalusia.

Pitchers for both teams were on fire to start the game and the score remained 0-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning.

Anna Vaughn singled to start the bottom of the fourth inning.

Betsy Powell followed with a single and then a one-out walk to Katelynn Shiver loaded the bases for the Lady Saints.

Millie Manring then gave LBWCC the lead when she laced a single through the right side that allowed a pair of runs to score.

Coastal Alabama North scored one run in the top of the seventh inning, but the Lady Saints were able to hold on for a 2-1 win.
