WILLIAM H. “BILL” PATE

Mr. William H. “Bill” Pate, 94, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., April 16, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Fri., April 19, at Salem Baptist Church with Brother Larry Stewart officiating.  The interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Larry Stewart of Andalusia; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and a brother, James Pate of Andalusia.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lue Ella Pate; one daughter, Barbara Tice; and granddaughter Toni Jones.

Pallbearers will be Terry Stewart, Timmy Stewart, Troy Stewart, Tray Jones, T. J. Kelley, and Josh Williamson.

HUGGHINS

Mrs. Faye Patterson Hugghins, age 80, passed away Mon., April 15, 2019, at her home. She was the daughter of Robert and Jewel Patterson. Mrs. Hugghins was a devoted wife to her late husband McRhee for more that 50 years and was a loving mother to her four sons:  Rockford Scott, Jeffery Todd, Thomas Berton, and the late Michael Wade Hugghins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sat., April 20, 2019, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill Pritchett officiating. The interment will follow in Long Branch Cemetery in Cohassett, Ala. Visitation will be from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., Friday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sons, Rockford Scott Hugghins and wife Terri of Pell City, Ala., Jeffery Todd Hugghins and Kathy Smith of Pell City, Ala., Thomas Berton Hugghins and Leigh Brown of Andalusia; three granddaughters, Jessica Roxanne, Andrea Faye, and Brittany Lynn Hugghins; two great-grandchildren, Priscilla Paris Sparks and Parker Garrett Hugghins; numerous nieces and nephews; and Jason Dickert, whom she loved as a son.

She is preceded in death by her husband, McRhee Hugghins; parents, Robert and Jewel Patterson; and son, Michael Wade Hugghins.

Pallbearers will be Jason Dickert, Mark Murphy, John Duncan, Marty Curry, Scott Dutton, and Shad Williams

Honorary pallbearers will be Andalusia High School Class of 1958, employees of Hugghins Sod Farms, Inc., and Hugghins Transportation

The Hugghins family would like to recognize and give special thanks to  Wanda Anderson, her caregiver and friend; Dr. Joanne Smith and staff; Dr. John Gage and Hilda Brazel, RN; Kim Ray, Gina Hicks, and the staff of Comfort Care Hospice.
