BRUCE LAMAR SASSER

Bruce Lamar Sasser, age 78, a resident of Barnwell, Ala., passed away Wed., April 17, 2019.

He was a retired Baptist minister, and was devoted to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jewel A. Sasser of Barnwell, Ala.; one son, Allen Sasser (Sharon) of Andalusia; four daughters, Cheryl Sasser of Bainbridge, Ga., Glenda Gardner (Larry) of Spanish Fort, Nita Hall (Kenny) of Bay Minette, Merle Davis (Rob) of Daphne; grandchildren: Blake, Emily, Will, Paige, Beau, Phillip, Amanda, Brittney, Lexi and Morgan; seventeen great grandchildren; sister, Jenny Starrett of Panama City, Fla.; many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Barnwell Baptist Church, 7780 U.S. Hwy. 98, Fairhope, Ala., on Mon., April 22, 2019, at 11 a.m., the family will begin receiving friends at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Barnwell Baptist Church.

ADA FAYE BAILEY

Ada Faye Bailey, age 82, native of Covington County, resident of Daphne, Ala., passed away Tue., April 16, 2019.

Ada was a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a former Walmart greeter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clanton W. Bailey.

She is survived by her sons, Steven C. (Leona) Bailey of Monroe, Ga, Randy G. (Cynthia) Bailey of Bay Minette, Douglas A. (Miriam) Bailey of Daphne; sister, Ida M. (Charles) Harper of Tacoma, WA; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Fri., April 26, 2019, at 3 p.m., from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Daphne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Jubilee Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity in her memory.
