BRANDON JOSEPH HOLT

Mr. Brandon Joseph Holt, age 20, of Andalusia, passed away on May 6, 2019, in a farming accident.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., May 9, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson and the Rev. Billy Boles officiating.  Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m., until 8 p.m., Wednesday  at Foreman Funeral Home. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at the church Thursday morning.

He is survived by his parents, Joey and Tammy Holt of Andalusia; brother, Justin Holt of Andalusia: paternal grandmother, Mrs. Kenny Holt of Andalusia; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Linda McCart of Andalusia.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Allen Holt and Buddy Kilpatrick.

Pallbearers will include Reid Adams, Will Piggoit, Branston Wallace, Avery Taylor, Caleb Whitehurst, Cody Wiggins, Mason Greathouse, Nathan Greathouse, and Pierce Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Brandon Holt Scholarship Fund at Southern Independent Bank, 1417 Dr. MLK Jr. EXPY, Andalusia, AL 36420.

WOLFGANG GEORG DUERR

Wolfgang Georg Duerr, 68, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., May 5, 2019.

He was a retired printer, who later worked in housing maintenance, and an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Maria and John Anderson.

CHRISTINE HILARY CLARY GIVENS

Mrs. Christine Hilary Clary Givens, age 88, of the Red Oak Community passed away on Sun., May 5, 2019, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., on Sat., May 11, 2019, from Red Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating the service; interment will follow in Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:30 prior to services at the church.

Mrs. Givens is survived by her sister-in-law, Anita Baldwin Clary of Magnolia Springs, AL; niece, Hope Clary (Joel) Schambeau of Magnolia Springs, AL; nephew, James Stephen Clary of Lee’s Summit, MO; great nephews, Joel Schambeau, Jr. and Charles A. Schambeau; and great nieces, Bridget Clary and Daphne Clary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Givens; parents, Anne Watkins and Hilary George Clary; brothers, Gerald Clary and Wilbur Berryman Clary; and nephew, Joseph Lance Clary.
