BRANDON JOSEPH HOLT

Mr. Brandon Joseph Holt, age 20, of Andalusia, passed away on May 6, 2019, in a farming accident.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thurs., May 9, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Wilkinson and the Rev. Billy Boles officiating.  Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m., until 8 p.m., Wednesday  at Foreman Funeral Home. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at the church Thursday morning.

He is survived by his parents, Joey and Tammy Holt of Andalusia; brother, Justin Holt of Andalusia: paternal grandmother, Mrs. Kenny Holt of Andalusia; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Linda McCart of Andalusia.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Allen Holt and Buddy Kilpatrick.

Pallbearers will include Reid Adams, Will Piggoit, Branston Wallace, Avery Taylor, Caleb Whitehurst, Cody Wiggins, Mason Greathouse, Nathan Greathouse, and Pierce Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Brandon Holt Scholarship Fund at Southern Independent Bank, 1417 Dr. MLK Jr. EXPY, Andalusia, AL 36420.

LORA MAE SUTTON

Mrs. Lora Mae Sutton, age 74, of Andalusia passed away Sun., May 5, 2019, at Andalusia Regional Hospital

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wed., May 8, 2019, from Foreman Funeral Home chapel with Brother Fred Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.

Mrs. Sutton is survived by her children, Jimmie and Phoebe Sutton of Riverview, Fla.; Dave and Penny Gurley of Chula, Ga.; Johnnie Mae and Jan Bunting of Mary Ester, Fla.; Margaret Edson of Andalusia; Emory and Angie Gurley; Jennifer and Tommy Byrd of Andalusia; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gladys Foxworth of Guthbert, Ga., Edwina and Robert Skinner of Lakeland, Ga., Latrell Dean of Ocilla, Ga., Pansy and Rick Crosby of Tifton, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Pat Dean of Nashville, Ga., Benny and Vonice Dean of Lakeland, Ga., Bobby and Cynthia Dean of Fitzgerald, Ga., Dwane and Carol Dean of Nashville, GA, Lewis and Bonnie Dean of Brookefield, Ga.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ottis and Henrietta Dean; husband, John T. Sutton; daughter, Sharon Holbrook; granddaughter, Courtney Edson; son-in-law, Royce Edson; brothers, Buddy Dean Jr, Willie James Dean and Jerry Dean; sisters, Eloise Harper and Billie Sue Fountain.

MARY FRANCES HILDRETH

Mrs. Mary Frances Hildreth, age 70, of Andalusia, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.  Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia with the Rev. John McMath and the Rev. Roger Lee officiating. Interment followed in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family received friends Monday, May 6, 2019,  at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia.

She is survived by her son, David (Tina) Johnson of Andalusia; grandchildren, Jamie, David Jr., Anthony, Tyler, Kevin, Cody, Brandon, and Angel; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl Kelley of Sanford, and Albert (Nancy) Kelley of Mobile; special friends, Ann Perdew, Angie Davis, and Nena Sanders. Mrs. Hildreth was preceded in death by her husband, Tex Hildreth; one daughter, Tammy White; grandson, Tyler Johnson; and three brothers, Ed Gibson, Tom Johnson, and Joey Kelly.
